Solarzip™ is a vertical awning system that shelters large areas from the wind and sun, whilst retaining your view and access to natural light. Solarzip™ awnings transform covered pergolas, decks and verandas into extended outdoor living areas by protecting the sides from wind and changeable weather conditions.
Solarzip™ is also an option for high quality internal fit outs. A special high temperature, welded side zip allows the fabric to be encapsulated within the powder-coated aluminium side tracks. Patented inserts act as movement absorbers, preventing the fabric from tearing within the tracks.
Solarzip™ awnings can be operated using a gearbox and removable crank handle or motorised.
Fabrics
Choose from a wide range of awning fabrics or specialist fabrics for outdoor drop down awnings and blinds. We recommend either the Solarview or Aspect ranges, as they are high quality and durable fabrics that allow relatively unrestricted views through the screen from the inside and privacy from the outside.
Solarview offers an aesthetically pleasing screen and is designed for controlling heat and light in the harsh NZ environment and is available in 12 colours featured.
Manufactured from durable 30% polyester and 70% PVC, Aspect fabrics are are available in 18 modern colours.
