Bannette Drop Down Awning

Details

Bannette™ Drop Down Awnings are ideal for a range of commercial or residential situations. They create additional outside space, without the need to erect a permanent structure, increasing the use of the indoor-outdoor areas.

Many customers choose clear plastic PVC awnings to ensure that views are not interrupted, whilst being protected from the weather. But many modern acrylic awning fabrics also offer semi-transparency and a range of stylish colours, enhancing the outdoor area, without blocking the view – the choice is yours.

Bannette™ Drop Down Awnings without arms can only be operated using a gearbox and removable crank handle. For motorisation of a Drop Down Awning, Sunray® offers the Solarzip™ awning, with all benefits of the Bannette™ awning and more.

Custom made Roller Blinds by Sunray® can be effortlessly raised or lowered by either our European made chain winder system, or automated with a Nice® Italian manufactured tubular motor. Sunray® chain winders are manufactured with premium quality stainless steel ball chain which resists daily wear and tear, along with corrosion from exposure to the elements such as sea air.

Choose from an extensive range of premium quality light filtering fabrics that diffuse light, reduce glare and help control solar heat gain, making your rooms more comfortable to live in. Light or neutral colours reflect the sun’s rays, while dark colours improve outside views and maximise glare reduction.

Roller Tube

Top quality, robust aluminium roller tubes provide the foundation for these high quality Sunray® Roller Blinds. Extra heavy-duty extruded aluminium tubes enable larger blinds to be made with no discernable sagging, which can also provide easier lifting for heavy fabrics.

Manufactured from engineering grade plastics and steel (springs), all moving parts are lubricated during assembly and need no further attention during their life.

Deauville Folding Arm Awning

Details

Traditional folding arm awnings are ideal for changeable climatic conditions, offering full protection from the hot summer sun and keeping you dry during unexpected rainfall – although not waterproof the awnings are water repellent. The Deauville™ awning system is custom made from high quality European folding arm technology, hardware and fabrics. The folding arm springs are factory set, providing even tension for the fabric and to absorb movement when windy. The standard product is controlled by a gearbox and removable crank handle, but can be motorised and operated by a remote control.

An optional Nice® Volo® wind sensor can be fitted to detect when winds are high and the awning will automatically retract. The Deauville™ folding arm awning has been especially designed for both small and medium sized terraces and is the perfect choice for homes, shopfronts or restaurants.

Stay in the Shade

Awning fabrics are 100% acrylic and will withstand wind, rain and pollution. Water repellent and Scotchgard™ protected, the semi-translucent fabrics will allow filtered light and air through, while still providing moisture protection. The fabrics are colour durable and resistant to most common chemicals, mildew and UV degradation.

Edge Fixed Canopy Awning

Details

Designed to offer shelter over entranceways, the Edge® Fixed Canopy Awning combines stylish good looks and a high quality finish to offer cover from the weather.

The high quality aluminium arms are custom made to any projection up to 1200mm and can be powdered coated in a finish to match the homes joinery, from a range of over 40 standard colours.

The Edge® canopy uses 10mm toughened safety glass as infill, which can be requested in a clear or a tinted grey, green or bronze finish.

Hi-tech acrylic awning fabrics, in a great range of radiant colours are offered to satisfy the demands of our savvy awning customers. Acrylic awning fabrics offered by Sunray® dealers are a fabric of choice, because of their high quality and huge range of colours and patterns. Acrylic awning fabrics are not only UV light, water, stain, mildew and rot resistant, but also come with a 5 year limited warranty.

Docril®

The Docril® sun protection fabric range is a 100% solution dyed acrylic fibre – the best raw material and dying process know for awning fabrics, which consistently retains its colour and strength over years of outdoor use. Docril® fabrics incorporate Teflon® in the finishing process, reinforcing the water repellency and minimising dirt adherence on the finished awning. This really is a stunning range of tough, but beautiful, awning fabrics.

Planosol

Designed to offer resistance to New Zealand’s harsh climate, Planosol is a 100% acrylic woven fibre fabric that repels water and offers a sun smart protection rating of U.V. – U.P.F. 50+ / SPF.

With inbuilt resistance to fading and rotting, Planosol is the perfect fabric for New Zealand awnings, giving protection from the weather for many years ahead.

Solarview

Solarview is a 30% polyester / 70% PVC fabric manufactured for controlling heat and light in the severe climates of NZ and Australia.

Aspect

Aspects’ Atmosphere fabric range has been especially designed for external roller blinds and screens such as the Solarzip. Aspects fabric has a similar composition as the Solarview fabric – 30% polyester / 70% PVC and a sturdy 2 x 2 weave, with up to 90% UV block out and are semi translucent for optimal visibility.

Felicia Premium Folding Arm Awning

The Felicia™ is a premium awning system which, when fully retracted, encloses the awning arms and fabric inside a cassette/box, protecting the working mechanisms, fabric and any automation electronics. This compact design gives the product a superior life in New Zealand’s variable climatic conditions.

Manufactured in New Zealand from imported European components, Felicia’s™ stylish lines and unobtrusive form blend in perfectly to match your decor, particularly when they are custom made and finished with a wide range of matching Dulux® powder-coat colours.

NiceWay® and Ondo® Remote Controls

NiceWay® is a range of advanced transmitter modules to control awnings. Ondo® is the versatile NiceWay® wall support; a simple magnetic fixing system that transforms Ondo from a comfortable portable remote control to an inconspicuous wall plate. Ondo® is made in shiny dirt resistant plastic, with a rubber lower section to improve grip and prevent slipping when used on surfaces.

Nice® Volo Wind Sensors are functional and elegant wind sensors for motorised Folding Arm, Pergola and Drop Down Awnings. The wind sensor is fitted close to the motorised end of the awning to detect strong winds and then automatically retracts the awning.
